August Player Feature
Meet Jordan Jeter-an in-depth look
Hardball Elite was quite impressed this weekend with Jordan Jeter with the
Spartanburg Phillies. The 5'8 177lbs, 8th grader out of Sims Middle School in
Union, SC led his team reaching base in the four games played along with hitting
a homerun over the wall on JB "Red" Owens Complex III. At least a 320ft shot at only an 8th grader. Check out this young man's bio as he will only get bigger and stronger and could progress into one of the top prospects in the area. Click here for Bio

Simpsonville Stars 12U Major

~Stars impressive in 19-4 win~
Simpsonville 12U Major team rips 19 hits in victory
Hardball Elite made a Saturday, August 27, 2011 trip to JB "Red" Owens complex in Easley for some great 12U Baseball action. This weekend we featured the Simpsonville Stars 12U Major team. In a division that Gameday USSSA put together in our opinion was one of the best in South Carolina Upstate USSSA history, with 4 teams the Elite Diamond Dawgs, Upstate
Mavericks 12U, Simpsonville Stars, and the Carolina Magic. This would be a dogfight for the title this weekend. Hardball Elite took in two contests out of the Stars (one on Saturday/one on Sunday) and we were not dissapointed with the talent level. The Stars took care of business Saturday and coasted to a 19-4 win over the Upstate Mavericks 12U collecting 19 hits. Sunday they took on the Elite Diamond Dawgs for the Championship. Would the Stars coast again to an easy title or did the Diamond Dawgs have something else in mind, we'll take you there in our game recap full of player recognition, player notes, player photos. click here
